wire leaves...

I thought I'd brighten up one of my numerous poolside stays whilst Evie swims with a pair of pliers and craft wire that I found in TIGER a couple of weeks ago. Have you been to Tiger yet? The Danish stores have a Scandinavian selection of knick-knacks, starting from £1 for a wildly eclectic selection of products, from herbs, spices and teas, to bath salts, arts & crafts bits, funky paper napkins, candles and greetings cards. You may come out with nothing one week and a basket full of all those 'necessities' you never knew you needed the next ;-)

Anyway, I tried my hand at making a few wire leaves-a couple of Mums thought I was completely crackers... I also tried a few effects on the shots over on my Instagram account-I'd love to see you there!

  1. Loving your wire leaves lovely! Tiger is one of my mum's favourite shops - it's cheap and you can often find some interesting bits and pieces :-) xxx

  2. Ha. Genius... love making good use of time!! Clever girl AND they are beautiful!

Well, am sitting on the fence with Tiger. When I held a workshop for a client a couple of years ago I stocked up on coloured felt-tips, scissors, glue etc. Then sometimes I've been in and found nothing (as you said). Amazed they opened that big store on Tottenham Crt Road.

Oy Toni, bet Tiger in Copenhagen is more classy, has better shop design and definitely better lighting!

    xx

    1. Thank you kindly Tina!!!! Well, one has to make use of one's spare time! I've just joined the pool gym too, so now I can exercise whilst Evie swims !?! I think the fence is the best spot with Tiger-definitely a bit of a bargain hunter's ground-like TK Maxx. You have to be very careful what you spend your cash on-even if it is just £1 xx
