Raw Ingredients
From the food Cupboard...
A new feature-Raw Ingredients-
Gabriel, Evie and I cook a lot together,
but it gets a bit hectic in the kitchen. Sometimes we manage
a few step-by-step shots and even the finished product.
More often than not, we don't though,
so I thought a few shots of ingredients before they
get used would be a good idea!

Gabriel brought home the carrots from his friend
Eddie who had grown them. They never actually got cooked-
but given to the rabbits instead!
I love that last CRAZY mushroom!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fab! Didn't get to actually try it though-it's sitting all shrivelled up in my study! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the last mushroom pic..they're decent home grown carrots as well, ours always come up stumpy! Thanks for the info about Toast Caroline I've reserved it at our local library and can't wait to watch it. Agree his kitchen is gorgeous I was wondering if it was a set but then read his latest series was filmed at his house..also love all the dishes he plates up into! Catherine X
ReplyDeleteLet me know what you think when you've seen it Catherine!x

DeleteI love cooking with the kids. Always so fun! ;)
ReplyDeleteP.S You can't comment on here unless you have a google account. Which is only linked to my old blogger. It doesn't let you comment with a self hosted wordpress. How annoying...otherwise i'll have to be 'anonymous' in the future?!
Thanks for letting me know that Tracey-hopefully I've fixed it now...?! I sometimes have the same problem commenting with wordpress and dont, for the same reason, but then again I'm not technical enough to work all of it out! :-)
DeleteWonderful photos dear Caroline!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs
Yvonne
Thank you so much again Yvonne-really kind! xx
DeleteI love your work Caroline. I am constantly inspired by fresh fruits and veggies. Whenever I go to the local farmers' market I could go on and snap pics all the way. Like during my last holidays in Serbia - I noticed I took many pics of fruits and veggies:-) Soon to be shared on the blog. Hope to see you in London this September!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks a million Igor! Yes, nature is one of the best inspirations and it never ceases to amaze me how many different interpretations come from it. Yes definitely see you in September-I'll probably be in tow with the London blogging girls! :-)
DeleteAh, all fixed....
