behind the scenes...garage shoot with Surface View...

As the saying goes, 'when the cat's away, the mice will play!'
Jon took his little TR4 to work in the glorious sunshine we've been having recently,
which meant I could sneak into the garage
with just a few bits and bobs to shoot!

Back in January I asked Surface View to provide two
of their products for my You Magazine Vintage Botanicals shoot.
Today I'd like to show you their gorgeous
birch ply print with George Forster's botanical drawing,
painted during Cook's second voyage between 1772 and 1775.
You can choose to have your favourite design
on a variety of backgrounds, from canvas, prints and posters,
to murals, tiles, wall hangings and stickers.

behind the scenes-in the garage, with the neighbour's rusty old drain cover too. Jon was not amused!

  1. I personally LOVE the inclusion of the rusty drain frame / cover thing! Also, the leather stool! Very cool. Beautiful composition (pin, pin, pin) :)

  4. Oh you've got me here! I admired your gorgeous photos on pinterest but I thought that it was one you had in your collection but no! Now for all of options they give you, it couldn't be more timely! In our new house our only option was to put the TV on the wall in a purpose built space so my latest project is to find a wall hanging to hide the ugly TV - this might be it! Love your styling Caroline and your shoots in the garage! Have a lovely weekend:) M x
